Every year Nedbank enrols over 200 young graduates and career starters from different communities into its various learnership programmes as a way of imparting skills and easing poverty and unemployment.

In keeping with selecting purpose-driven people who we believe will be a fit for our organisation, all job training and skills development programmes carry the common theme of being trainee-led. Once selected, you will be given the option of selecting rotations that align with your professional goals.

Meaning that if you know exactly where you want to end up, Nedbank will provide you with the flexibility to explore different areas of the bank that you might be interested in. No two trainees will follow the same route and you never have to feel any pressure as you discover your path through Nedbank.

Our Yes programme

YES, which was born out of the CEO initiative, was officially launched in March 2018 by the President as a joint initiative between government, business, labour and civil society. It was set up to be part of a collective effort to address the youth unemployment crisis facing our country.
