The Nedbank Chartered Accountant Training Programme

The Nedbank CA Training Programme enables you to be the difference that impacts our world by using your financial and analytical expertise to positively influence individuals, businesses and society as a whole whilst training towards qualifying as a CA (SA).

The programme is committed to partnering with you on a CA journey known for creating industry leaders. We don’t simply develop CAs; we establish impactful business leaders that make a meaningful difference in an environment that enables a successful career journey.

About our Programme

You're not like other trainees and we’re not like other training programmes.

With the Nedbank CA Training Programme, you will have the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the banking environment by rotating across the banks’ various clusters gaining valuable career-defining experience and exposure.

The programme is an environment that enables your success through the support and access to coaching and mentorship.

Furthermore, we place great value on the principles of leadership and transformation, which are firmly ingrained in our culture. Through the programme, our trainees are exposed to leadership opportunities and participate in driving the strategic direction of the programme.

#BeTheDifference: Corporate Social Responsibility

To date the Nedbank CA Training Programme (along with the CA Training Programme) has raised just over R900 000 for various community initiatives, the latest being Matla Combined School, a co-ed school which caters for Grade R all the way through to Grade 12, and currently facilitates around 1 200 pupils. The Nedbank CA trainees planted and established a sustainable vegetable garden to complement the school’s feeding programme.

Corporate Social Responsibility is a great opportunity for us as a Programme to leverage our resources and #BeTheDifference in the lives of those in our communities and country.

What our trainees have to say

“My journey with Nedbank started when the then-CA trainees of the programme held a NedTalk on campus. I was accepted into the programme in the early months of my PDGA/CTA studies. It enabled me to build genuine networks in the bank through different initiatives. I was afforded the opportunity to harness my leadership and people management skills by leading a few initiatives and MCing at our corporate events. This led to my interest in and taking the Head of Marketing position in the programme.”
