Job Purpose
To develop and maintain new and existing insurance products and provide support in order to increase Nedbank revenue and enhance client experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain client relationships through the undertaking of independent and dual visits with corporate bankers based on client needs; and/or related situations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders by contributing to structured information sharing meetings.
- Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
- Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g.Green Strategy).
- Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank.
- Identify opportunities by collaborating with corporate bankers according to Nedbank corporate strategy.
- Present asset based finance product opportunities to corporate clients by evaluating client's financial position and associated financial requirements according to Nedbank corporate banking strategy and budget.
- •Provide product expertise in delivery of assets based finance solutions within risk norms according to credit policies; and pricing/return on equity in line with strategy and budget.
- Source business opportunities in line with budgets by building and maintaining client relationships.
- Monitor portfolios in line with credit limits by managing client expectations.
- Meet client expectations by liaising with operational team (administrative) and monitoring/managing outputs as per service level agreements; credit and strategy.
- Conduct business relationships by complying to Protection of Personal Information Act; Financial Advisory
- and Intermediary Services Act; Financial Intelligence Centre Act; Proceeds of Crime; Drugs; Terrorists and Related Activities Act and Companies Act Address operational and system challenges by managing client relationship and involving internal stakeholders to find solutions and resolve challenges.
- Support the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values by reviewing Nedbank and Business Unit Plan and ensuring delivered systems; process; services and solutions are aligned.
- Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management and industry requirements.
- Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
- Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction.
- Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits and constraints in support of the implementation of recommendations.
