Job Purpose

To provide operational and executive-level coordination support to offices of Client Operations and HR Executives, under the guidance of Business Enablement Manager, by planning, coordinating, managing administrative, governance, and information management activities to enable executives and management teams to deliver on strategic, operational, and governance objectives within Nedbank CIB.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate executives’ and senior management meetings; collate required inputs, ensure that packs are combined, quality-checked, version-controlled, and loaded onto the systems within agreed deadlines, and follow up on outstanding submissions to prepare executives and attendees effectively.
  • Manage version control, submission deadlines, and final sign‑off for executive and Manco packs.as a central coordination point for executive documentation, ensuring a single source of truth.
  • Perform general office administrative and executive-support functions, managing ad hoc queries,correspondence, and tasks efficiently while exercising sound judgement and prioritisation.
  • Collate information and provide structured support to executive initiatives to ensure strategic deliverables are tracked, supported, and met.
  • Escalate delivery risks, delays, or misalignment timeously.
  • Maintain compliance with organisational standards, policies, and governance requirements, supporting audit, risk, and control processes.
  • Maintain governance artefacts including action logs, decision registers, approvals trackers, and evidence repositories.
  • Track and follow up on Manco/Exco actions, ensuring timely closure and escalation of overdue matters.
  • Support audit and risk reviews through coordination of documentation, confirmations, and responses under executive direction. Keep abreast of system and technology requirements relevant to executive support; provide technical meeting support; and proactively identify and recommend process, system and efficiency improvements (where applicable).
  • Coordinate projects, initiatives, and events aligned to the Executives and Manco priorities; manage all logistical aspects of internal and external meetings, events, and travel arrangements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through professional and effective communication.
  • Handle sensitive, confidential, and market-sensitive matters with discretion, exercising sound judgement and escalating issues where appropriate in line with CIB standards.
  • Provide support in managing office resources, procurement and expenses, in a cost‑effective and well-controlled manner.
  • Coordinate procurement processes including purchase orders, invoices, vendor onboarding, and expense approvals in line with Nedbank financial controls.
  • Liaise with Finance, Procurement, and Shared Services teams to resolve queries and delays.
  • Ensure documents and templates comply with corporate standards and brand identity

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Post-matric qualification

Preferred Qualification

  • Relevant Degree (administration/operations/similar)
