Job Purpose

To support the business by ensuring relevant financial operational processes are administered timeously and accurately to meet business and other stakeholders’ requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accurate loading and processing of various financial entries on client accounts (e.g. fees, journals, payment processing)
  • Reporting on and reconciliation of various financial entries in relation to financial entries posted on stockbroking accounts
  • Attending to Service Requests
  • Supporting broader Financial Operations team as back-up to duties
  • Meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) by conducting activities within agreed timelines and parameters.
  • Minimise financial and reputational risk by ensuring accuracy of processing activities.
  • Meet Nedbank internal and external client service standards by effectively communicating with stakeholders.
  • Understand and meet stakeholder needs by maintaining a relationship through regular interaction.
  • Minimise risk by checking and validating activities according to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that relevant processes are administered by following procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy by identifying and recording / correcting discrepancies timeously.
  • Highlight risks by reporting exceptions timeously.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

  • Relevant Finance/Accounting Degree or Advanced Diploma

Minimum Experience Level

  • 5 years in business administration
  • Stockbroking experience advantageous
