Job Purpose

Effectively implement and oversee a portfolio of syndicated loan transactions in strict accordance with legalagreements and regulatory requirements. Utilize available systems, adhere to internal processes, and coordinateloan activities among various transaction parties.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate syndicated loan transactions, serving as a liaison between borrowers and financial institutions.
  • Manage communication with syndicate members, ensuring a clear understanding of terms and conditions.
  • Monitor loan portfolios, assess risks, and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
  • Take action and monitor deal activities in compliance with legal agreements and regulatory requirements, utilizingsystems like Loan IQ and Debt Domain.
  • Provide advice to key stakeholders on legal agreements, regulatory requirements, policies, and processes toeffectively manage risk.
  • Propose practical solutions for deal implementation and ongoing management to mitigate risk and enhance theclient experience.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders, delivering high-quality input, proactive issue resolution, and opencommunication.
  • Maintain accurate and reliable data on all transactions for timely and accurate management information.
  • Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes affecting syndicated lending.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Advanced degree in finance or related field and/or a professional certification in syndicated lending.

 

Minimum Experience Level

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in syndicated lending or a related financial role.
