Position
AML, CFT & Sanctions Training & Dev Practitioner
Job Purpose
To deliver regulatory risk awareness and training interventions associated with AML to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across the Nedbank Group are met.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct learning interventions in accordance with relevant standards, using appropriate training methods/tools/ learning styles to ensure optimal transfer of skill to entire audience, helping individuals and groups to manage their own learning.
- Monitor transfer of knowledge by making use of necessary tools to assess learner progress and competence against training intervention objectives.
- Ensure training related administration has been arranged.
- Develop appropriate training and development presentation material to pre-empt any system or technical glitches to meet intervention objectives.
- Monitor, audit, and assurance findings that come from Compliance and Audit and institute training on identified trends to correct negative findings.
- Analyse regulator and industry meetings to gain insights into existing issues and create awareness.
- Understand regulatory directives, circulars etc from SARB and provide training and/or awareness .
- Review the quality of Reserve Bank applications, identify if all necessary requirements have been included in the application at a Group level, and address with training, where required.
- Keep abreast of market trends that could influence the Exchange Control environment.
- Train team in Group AML on relevant systems/software.
- Evaluate development and delivery methodology of training and awareness solutions to prevent any Exchange Control regulatory fine or penalty.
- Coordinate training and awareness plan by ensuring delivery of interventions in a cost-effective manner and within agreed timelines to maximize required results and minimize negative impact across stakeholder groups.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Provide training statistics and analysis to stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders to obtain buy - in for implementation of new training and/or improve quality and design of training material, where required.
- Identify training courses to stay abreast of developments in field of expertise.
- Ensure all learning curriculum activities are completed within specified timeframe to ensure personal growth and application of new competence in function to enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities.

Minimum Experience Level
- 3 - 6 years’ facilitating experience in the related business environment Regulatory Risk management and/or AML
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
