Job Purpose

To attain new and expand the existing client base for Nedbank. Grow the Nedbank brand and optimize revenue according to business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new clients as per product line.

  • Cross-sell of all Nedbank products.

  • Achieve agreed volumes, pricing and quality objectives through providing effective and professional service to existing and potential customers.

  • Exceed sales, growth and profit targets.

  • Assessment and recommendation of applicants for fast and effective decision-making.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients

  • Increase the market penetration.  

  • Implementation and execution of all new products and offerings

  • Establish the Nedbank Brand and new offerings throughout Namibia.

Experience and Qualification requirements

  • Grade 12 (25 points) and a relevant Diploma or Degree.

  • Applicant must have minimum (5) five years banking experience, with knowledge of sales, credit/risk assessment skills.

  • Fluency in various languages would be an added advantage.

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Office.

  • Own transport would be an added advantage.

  • Code 08 license

  • Code of Conduct

Technical / Professional Knowledge

  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Be innovative and self-driven

  • High degree of self-confidence.

  • Outgoing personality with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Sound experience in all aspects of sales

  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced in the application of the Credit Agreement and Usury Acts.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Must be flexible within working hours.

  • Must be willing to travel between branches, suppliers and dealers.
