Job Purpose

Implement and maintain a robust system to cater for leads, including the creation, receipt, routing and assigning as well as the tracking and reporting.  Empower others to act on leads, which will translate into new business and cross selling opportunities which will help the business to achieve revenue targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build a relationship of trust with the front line team members; be the first port-of-call for support on the management of leads
  • Maintain regular contact with the front line teams, and those involved in the leads process to stay top of mind
  • Ensure that time spent with the frontline teams, is used to the best advantage by focusing on resolving issues and providing suggestions to enhance outcomes
  • Build relationships with relevant internal stakeholders to improve delivery to the client
  • Contributed to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
  • Participate and support initiatives for the achievement of business strategy
  • Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank
  • Educate the front line teams, through one on one's; group presentations; team meetings and to enable them to increase revenue
  • Building relationships with Principals and front line teams, to positively influence the outcome of leads and improve the client experience for contact requests
  • Handle queries from the front line teams on the administration process timeously and according to service level agreements to ensure professional service
  • Solve technical queries by responding or escalating to the relevant person timeously and in line with service level agreements
  • Provide statistics a regular basis, as required
  • Assess monthly reports and identified areas that need attention, and take corrective action with relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible to ensure management reports and dashboards are maintained, and are appropriate to managers an overall view of the leads in each area
  • Conducted all activities within required regulation to reduce risk
  • Supported the achievement of the business strategy; objectives and values by reviewing the Wealth Management SA plan and ensuring delivered systems; process; services and solutions are aligned
  • Identified training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management
  • Ensured all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe
  • Shared knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction
  • Obtained buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g. operational processes) that will improve the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of the implementation of recommendations.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

NQF Level 5, BCom

    Minimum Experience Level

    2 years financial industry experience, and knowledge of sales process in the financial services industry
    Experience with a leads management process will be advantageous
