Job Purpose

This is specialist position and hence requires an understanding of all Monitoring and/ or Event Management technologies in the organisation, specifically Dynatrace Application Performance Monitoring and/or ServiceNow Event Management. This is required across on-premises and cloud solutions.
This includes consulting to the Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) team, business and technology customers to identify ESM solutions that will achieve efficiencies, optimal results and superior service delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• In consultation with the ESM team and Technology Architecture, set standards for ESM and design ESM solutions that consider integration across technologies.
• Act on feedback from the operational team regarding gaps in operational procedure. 
• Develop complex ESM solutions that impact across technologies and that meet the requirements provided (Including system access). 
• Assist users in defining their needs and assessing the technology impact. 
• Act as ESM consultant to enterprise-wide projects, including facilitating vendor engagement. 
• Provide advanced trouble shooting. 
• Provide detailed technical roadmaps in context of the organisation architecture and interdependent technologies
• Plan and drive implementation of the agreed technical roadmaps
• Provide on the job coaching or mentoring to Systems administrators, learners and technology customers. 
• Arrange and facilitate product knowledge sharing and design reviews.
• Collate designs consider scalability, availability and recovery in a Hybrid Cloud Environment.
• The design, integration, development and implementation of Monitoring solutions across the bank

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

Preferred Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in IT

Preferred Certifications

• Certificate in relevant Technology or Domain

Minimum Experience Level

• Programming logic and techniques
• Thorough understanding of scripting and scripting language/s.
• 8 – 10 years IT experience
• IT Diploma/ Degree or equivalent experience

Administrative and Development Support within Nedbank South Africa and Nedbank Africa l across following toolsets:

• Dynatrace
• ServiceNow

• Project Management
• Design review & collation
• Customer Engagement to senior level
• Vendor engagement
• Implementation and Maintenance of monitoring requirements
• Software version and Release Management
• Monitoring & Event Management Environment Operational Support (availability and stability)
• Monitoring & Event Management requirements implementation as per customer requirements, including:

  • Scripting/ Development
  • Dashboarding and Reporting
