Job Purpose
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of systems
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate code integration, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery
- Apply strong Python coding skills to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize system components and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions using cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
- Integrate enterprise tools and APIs to ensure seamless system communication and data flow
- Maintain and enhance source code repositories, ensuring version control and code quality standards are upheld
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide sustainable solutions for system incidents and performance issues
- Stay current with AI technologies and contribute to the development of intelligent systems and automation strategies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering growth and innovation within the team
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
Minimum Experience Level
10 years plus exposure to IT environment with minimum of 5 years Systems Engineering.
