To lead the planning, orchestration and execution of SME Customer Value Management campaigns that turn customer and portfolio opportunities into relevant, timely and measurable customer engagement across owned and assisted channels.

The Senior Campaign Manager leads the campaign team and partners with SME CVM, Product, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Data and frontline teams to deliver personalised, trigger-based and always-on interventions that support acquisition, activation, engagement, cross-sell, retention, reactivation and sustainable portfolio growth. The role ensures that campaign strategy is converted into high-quality execution, with disciplined prioritisation, testing, measurement and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Translate SME CVM priorities, customer opportunities and portfolio objectives into an integrated campaign roadmap and executable delivery plan.

  • Provide campaign expertise into the design of customer treatments, contact strategies and engagement approaches across the SME lifecycle.

  • Prioritise campaign activity according to customer value, commercial potential, strategic alignment, channel capacity, feasibility and customer-contact considerations.

  • Define the campaign objective, target audience, proposition, treatment, channel, timing, call to action and success measures for each intervention.

  • Maintain a coordinated view of planned, always-on and trigger-based SME campaigns to support effective sequencing and avoid conflicting customer communication

Campaign orchestration and execution

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of SME campaigns across relevant owned, digital, direct and assisted channels.

  • Convert approved briefs and CVM requirements into campaign journeys, delivery plans, backlogs, milestones and clear accountabilities.

  • Oversee audience implementation, journey orchestration, content readiness, channel deployment, quality assurance and launch governance.

  • Enable real-time and event-triggered personalised engagement using the approved marketing technology stack and available customer signals.

  • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, timeously and in line with signed-off requirements, brand standards and customer-experience principles.

Audience, personalisation and customer experience

  • Partner with SME CVM and data teams to translate opportunity definitions into clear audience and eligibility requirements.

  • Ensure campaign audiences, exclusions, suppressions, contact rules and personalisation logic are correctly applied and quality assured.

  • Use customer context, behaviour, lifecycle stage and portfolio opportunity to improve campaign relevance and next-best-action execution.

  • Coordinate content and collateral with Direct Marketing, Product and relevant business teams to ensure clear, compelling and customer-centred communication.

  • Manage the end-to-end campaign experience so that channel interactions, banker follow-up and fulfilment processes work together effectively.

Job Responsibilities Continued

Campaign performance and optimisation

  • Define campaign measurement requirements and ensure appropriate test, control and attribution approaches are applied where feasible.

  • Monitor delivery, reach, response, conversion, customer outcomes and commercial value against agreed campaign objectives.

  • Ensure timely post-campaign analysis is completed and translated into clear findings, strategic implications and recommendations.

  • Apply Return on Marketing Investment principles and portfolio-benefit tracking to assess value and inform future prioritisation.

  • Embed test-and-learn practices and use performance insight to improve audiences, treatments, journeys, channels and campaign effectiveness.

Team leadership and delivery management

  • Lead, coach and develop the campaigns team to deliver high-quality, customer-centred and commercially effective work.

  • Allocate work, manage capacity and maintain clear priorities across the campaign pipeline and squad backlogs.

  • Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback and strengthen campaign, digital and CVM capability within the team.

  • Remove blockers, resolve escalations and ensure delivery risks and dependencies are actively managed.

  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement and disciplined execution.

Stakeholder, agency and governance management

  • Partner with SME CVM, Product, Sales, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Data, Credit, Operations and frontline stakeholders to align campaign design and execution.

  • Manage agencies, vendors and internal delivery partners against agreed briefs, standards, timing plans and quality expectations.

  • Ensure campaign activity complies with relevant governance, consent, privacy, regulatory, brand and conduct requirements.
