Job Purpose

To design, embed and continuously evolve the sales enablement and execution capability for the SME segment, ensuring frontline teams deliver consistent growth, productivity and client primacy across relationship‑led, digital and ecosystem channels.
The role is accountable for translating SME strategy into executable sales motions, enabling frontline teams with the right insights, tools, processes and capabilities to deliver Nedbank’s SME growth ambitions.

Why Join The Team?

  • Ensure client and stakeholder expectations are understood and met and build relationships through
    regular collaborations and engagements.

Sales Analytics, Insight & Decision Support:

  • Convert SME sales data and analytics into practical decision support for frontline teams.
  • Ensure bankers have access to actionable insights, including: Portfolio prioritisation, Pipeline health, Cross‑sell and primacy indicators.
  • Work closely with analytics and data teams to ensure tools and dashboards are fit‑for‑frontline use, not reporting only.

     Frontline Capability & Coaching Enablement:

  • Define the SME sales capability framework aligned to role expectations and client complexity.
  • Enable frontline effectiveness through: Practical sales plays, Conversation guides, Credit readiness and opportunity identification cues.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to ensure capability interventions are targeted, applied and outcome‑focused, rather than generic training.

Sales Tooling, Process & Workflow Enablement:

  • Act as business owner for SME sales enablement requirements across CRM, dashboards and workflow tools.
  • Partner with Technology, Platforms and Product teams to: Reduce friction in sales processes, Simplify onboarding, credit and cross‑sell journeys, Embed prompts and next‑best‑action logic.
