Product Head: Treasury Management Solutions

Job Purpose
Deliver on the overall client and product line strategy in a profitable way whilst owning the value creation in the end-to-end value chain of the product portfolio. Executes and leads the product commerciality by driving a digital culture shift through digitisation in a holistic manner in line with Cluster goals for Transactional Services and CIB.
Job Responsibilities
Financial:
- Manage and deliver on the product P&L to achieve the agreed financial objectives by driving sustainable growth, ownership and performance for product and Sales within Transactional Services and CIB
- Drive financial objectives supporting the organisational budgeting process through driving reporting and monitoring of organisational financial performance
- Drive, develop and manage client growth by identifying product opportunities to grow primary banker status, portfolio optimisation and ensuring commercialisation
- Manage the value chain health and profitability of all products within the portfolio
- Execute on the refund app for product & conduct root cause analysis and execution of remedial actions and development of preventative measures
Customer:
- Participate in client engagements to determine assist with sales, understanding client needs, and ensure product health and utilisation
- Responsible for product CVP and the end-to-end value chain to create seamless client experiences and innovative solutions around touch point optimisation with digital self service capability
- Deliver a world-class service by ensuring a client centric culture.
Product management:
- Drive a product vision with a long-term strategic framework across sector and client whilst incorporating product lifecycle management
- Drive the Digital first strategy creating cohesion between segment, channel and product
- Identify new innovation and product health opportunities to feed the program backlog
- Manage the product innovation funnel, including prioritisation, costs, timelines, complexity and Client Experience
- Participation in the planning ceremonies and execution ceremonies if required within the agile framework for cadence and value creation
- Drive excellence in strategy execution by integrating people, processes, management, systems and measurements
- Lead and influence collaboration across TS, cluster and juristic to achieve the distinctive client-centred strategy.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaboration with stakeholders for commercialisation, compliance, people, technology, support, operationalisation, value management and servicing
- External & Internal stakeholder management through effective reporting and communication across Nedbank
- Responsible for vendor and partner collaboration and management
- Evaluate and analyse performance against Key Performance Indicators and provide insight on performance indicators to relevant stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
- Professional Qualifications/Honour’s Degree
Minimum Experience Level
- 5 years experience in relevant or appropriate role in banking or financial services environment that has provided the types of exposure listed above.
