Job Purpose

The LMA Manager is accountable for end-to-end value delivery across campaign management, analytics, and capability enablement for assigned business partners. This role acts as the primary strategic liaison between the business and internal teams, ensuring partner needs are understood, prioritised, and effectively delivered.


The LMA Manager leads a team of campaign engineers, champions data-driven decision making, and ensures the optimisation of processes, governance, and outcomes within the broader value chain. The role requires strong relationship management across multiple stakeholders, with a focus on driving performance, insight, and continuous improvement..

Job Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based business partner relationships at multiple levels.
  • Deeply understand stakeholder KPIs, strategic objectives, and operational challenges.
  • Guide partners through planning, execution, and post-campaign analytics.
  • Drive value through insights, campaign optimisation, and strategic recommendations.
  • Proactively manage blockers, risks, and issues across the value chain.
  • Lead demand management across operational, analytics, capability, and project streams.

 

People Leadership

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Monitor team capacity, performance, and development needs.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet business demands.
  • Champion team growth, engagement, and continuous learning.
  • Produce management reports and maintain visibility of team performance.

 

Communication & Engagement

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Present confidently in executive forums and formal meetings.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, packs, and reports.
  • Cultivate strong organisational awareness and understanding of broader business strategy.
  • Communicate progress on deliverables clearly and consistently.

 

Campaign Management & Delivery

  • Oversee campaign execution with a focus on quality, speed, and efficiency.
  • Optimise campaign and operational processes across the value chain.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of governance, operational structures, and data processes.
  • Ensure all campaign and communication governance standards are adhered to.

 

Capability Enhancement & Enablement

  • Lead onboarding and enablement of new business areas.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during projects and user acceptance testing cycles.
  • Manage and coordinate Proofs of Concept (POCs) and Proofs of Value (POVs).
  • Drive adoption and utilisation of new tools, capabilities, and technologies.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Diploma
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Degree or Diploma in:

  • Business Management
  • Marketing
  • Project Management
  • Analytics or related discipline

Minimum Experience Level

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in stakeholder management, with a proven track record of building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, understanding strategic business objectives, and influencing decision-making to achieve business outcomes.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in people management, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, workforce planning, resource allocation, and developing high-performing teams within a dynamic business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams, coordinating resources across multiple functions, and managing complex stakeholder landscapes to successfully deliver business objectives.
  • Proven experience within campaign management, analytics, customer engagement, marketing enablement, business intelligence, customer management, or related environments, with a strong understanding of campaign execution, operational processes, and value delivery.
  • Experience translating business requirements into actionable delivery plans and leveraging data, analytics, and business insights to identify opportunities, optimise performance, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, balance stakeholder expectations, mitigate risks, and deliver successful outcomes within complex and fast-paced environments.
  • Experience leading or contributing to strategic initiatives, operational improvements, change management programmes, capability enhancement initiatives, UAT activities, POCs, and POVs.
  • Demonstrated experience presenting recommendations, progress updates, and performance insights to senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Banking, Financial Services, Customer Intelligence, Campaign Management, or Analytics experience will be advantageous.
