Job Purpose

Lead the development, growth, optimization and commercial performance of Nedbank Business Banking's transaction account portfolio across SME, Mid-Corporate and Commercial Banking segments. Accountable for delivering market-leading transactional products and digital experiences that establish Nedbank as the client's primary operating bank, deepen client engagement, unlock deposits and payment flows, and create sustainable revenue growth through data-driven propositions, ecosystem partnerships and digital innovation.

Contribute to team effectiveness by participating in the recruitment and selection of senior staff.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce, Banking, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
A relevant Postgraduate Qualification (NQF Level 8) in Business, Finance, Banking, Strategy, or a related discipline is preferred.
A Master's Degree (MBA, MCom, or equivalent) will be a distinct advantage.

Minimum Experience Level

Minimum of 7-10 years' experience within the banking or financial services sector, with significant exposure to transactional banking, product management, payments, deposits, cash management, or related business banking portfolios.
