To provide transformational leadership, guidance and direction by supporting the business in the delivery of end-to-end strategic objectives, in line with Nedbanks' Value Proposition.
Job Responsibilities
- Accountable for building and leading a dedicated Transactional Banking Sales capability that drives non-interest revenue, client primacy and product penetration across Commercial and Mid Corp.
- Leads specialist sales strategy execution across Debtor Management, Transactional Solutions, Global Trade, Card Acquiring and Corporate Saver & Investments.
- Partners with Commercial and Mid Corp Coverage and Sectors to identify, originate and convert transactional banking opportunities, by aligning to client needs, sector growth priorities, embedding transactional solutions and deepening share of wallet.
- Drives pipeline discipline, sales effectiveness and performance management across specialist product sales teams.
- Translate sector, client and portfolio insights into targeted transactional banking sales campaigns and growth opportunities.
- Improve cross-sell conversion by aligning specialist sales teams with relationship managers, provincial coverage teams and sector-focused growth priorities.
- Strengthen client acquisition and retention by positioning transactional banking as a core lever for client primacy and everyday banking relevance.
- Lead commercialisation of new and existing transactional banking solutions to improve client uptake, fee income and franchise growth.
- Work closely with Product, Digital, Operations, Risk and Coverage teams to remove friction from onboarding, fulfilment and servicing journeys.
- Use data and performance insights to identify underpenetrated client segments, growth sectors and opportunities to increase product penetration.
- Ensure sales execution is aligned to pricing, risk appetite, regulatory requirements and the broader BCB growth strategy.
