Divisional Executive: Transactional Services Sales

Job Purpose
To assume end-to-end accountability for the strategic direction, sustainable performance, transformation and achievement of Transactional Services Sales in line with Nedbank CIB and Group strategy and objectives, by leveraging resources, collaborating with and influencing stakeholders in executing strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive a sales culture in Transactional Services by leading, directing and guiding teams in prioritising and executing identified leads and pipelines.
- Have a comprehensive Sales plan to deliver on CIB strategic goals for Transactional Services.
- Build a sustainable Sales team with the ambition to grow TS market share to our desired fair share as per set 3 year plan.
- Deliver on ROE by managing expenditure; cost to income ratio's and headline earning targets for the year.
- Further Nedbank's image as a responsible corporate citizen by guiding Nedbank Cluster corporate citizenship direction.
- Ensure delivery of client experience through client value proposition.
- Drive achievement of Cluster and TS strategic objectives by developing a strategic plan; framework and budget.
- Optimise client experience and productivity by ensuring alignment and execution of strategic initiatives and projects.
- Ensure sustainable business through alignment of business structures; systems; processes and people.
- Ensure compliance to ERM risk frameworks by managing through set governance structures.
- Ensure compliance; identification and mitigation of risk by adhering to the risk framework principles.
- Ensure development; maintenance and growth of client relationships through execution of client engagement strategies.
- Contribute as part of the TS MANCO team through proactive engagement and collaboration .
- Build trusting relationships with direct reports and employees by being a values driven leader.
- Build and maintain proactive and constructive relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders through regular engagement and knowledge sharing.
- Represent Nedbank brand and enhance its reputation by deepening relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Achieve CIB Cluster culture objectives by monitoring and managing staff morale and targeted progression.
- Contribute to Nedbank being the most transformed Bank by enabling accelerated transformation and positioning of TS.
- Create a supportive learning environment by providing opportunities for growth; motivating; coaching and guiding staff.
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
Post Graduate Qualification in Business or Commerce
Minimum Experience Level
Minimum 5 years’ experience at an executive manager level and minimum of 10 years’ experience in Financial Services industry.
