Job Purpose

To lead and execute people-centred change management strategies that accelerate the adoption and value realisation of Microsoft 365 Copilot across the organisation. This role focuses on behavioural enablement, stakeholder engagement, and cultural transformation to embed Copilot into daily workflows and foster a sustainable digital productivity culture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a structured change management roadmap aligned to M365 Copilot rollout phases (Align, Enable & Pilot, Scale & Sustain)
  • Conduct readiness assessments and stakeholder analyses to tailor interventions
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for Copilot adoption and behavioural change
  • Partner with executive sponsors, business unit leads, and champions to drive awareness and buy-in
  • Design and deliver targeted communications across platforms
  • Deliver change project results effectively, on time and within risk parameters
  • Execute change management practices that are methodical, planned and deliberate in the delivery of the project objectives
  • Establish and grow a Copilot User Community and Champion Network
  • Influence practice by indicating the impact it has on organisational coherence
  • Consider the duration, impacted audiences, complexity of changes and organisational capability as well as informing the selection of an appropriate change strategy to conduct a change size and impact assessment
  • Create a change plan in support of implementing the strategy in partnership with the larger project/program team to collectively realise the change benefits
  • Identify change team members representative of the organisation to maximise the delivery of sustainable change
  • Select Change interventions to optimise the shift required to progress the enrolment of stakeholder/s
  • Implement required change interventions to ensure achievement of the change enrolment objectives  with due consideration to institutional policies, practices and agreements
  • Compile change reports highlighting progress, issues and risks to key decision makers to ensure change governance and implementation progress
  • Assist in determining the strategic change  management enablers, contribute to and challenge the relevant business cases to co-create various strategic plans
  • Integrate various People Practice indicators to articulate the people impact 
  • Apply/Integrate Change Management models and methodology to design change and communication plans/frameworks
  • Implement innovative change practices through the design and development of initiatives
  • Apply change management  principles to plan and execute specific key strategic initiatives (organisational change, technical and cultural)
  • Apply proven Change Management practices to deliver sound benefits in a governed way
  • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc)
  • Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy (e.g.. Green Strategy)
  • Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank
  • Prioritise and plan own activities to deliver on agreed business requirements
  • Give advice on the improvement of change effectiveness
  • Assess and analyse various business indicators and put forward recommendations
  • Conduct Stakeholder Analysis to determine an appropriate engagement approach and optimise participation and support for the planned change
  • Monitor stakeholder involvement levels and maximise buy-in
  • Develop collaborative relationships through face to face meetings
  • Build credible business partnerships through professionalism and quality of advice and leadership.
  • Engage various stakeholders deliberately and proactively  through communication, collaboration and dedicating time
  • Influence and coach key stakeholders to enable effectiveness of  change management.
  • Role model the competencies of change leadership to build change management capability

 

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

Post graduate degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology or related (Bcom/BA Psychology)

Preferred Certifications

Preferred - Change Management certification (Prosci/HCMBok/Lean Change Management)

Minimum Experience Level

3 to 5 years experience in a Change Management role
