Job Purpose

To plan, execute, monitor and deliver on sales and retention business objectives in support of RBB ProductStrategy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for stakeholder engagement and alignment relating to Sales and Retention business objectives.
  • Plan and implement campaign activities.
  • Drive strategic sales levers by observing, coaching and testing for understanding.
  • Review of end to end fulfilment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Measure and drive sales leads and usage of relevant sales systems to improve cross sellingopportunities.
  • Improve cross sell through driving digital enticement by identifying lost opportunities.
  • Drive activation and entrench sales to improve revenue generating accounts.
  • Focus on portfolio tilt and drive relevant products to increase revenue and entrenchment.
  • Drive Life Cycle Management activities to increase revenue.
  • Manage Direct Expenses by making use of Cost effective multi-media solutions to improve cost ofsales.
  • Analyse relevant client feedback systems and identify common trends in client sales and retentionchallenges and recommend corrective action to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherance to sales and retention standards and strategies by observation and measurementand recommending corrective action.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify initiatives to ensure achievement of sales and retentiontargets.
  • Support relevant areas to achieve sales and retention objectives by highlighting gaps and opportunities.
  • Reducing processing errors and improve data quality by effective monitoring, controls and puttingcorrective activities in place.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant legislative and Nedbank Policies and Processes requirements.
  • Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives and values by reviewing Nedbank andBusiness Unit Plan and ensuring delivered systems, process, services and solutions are aligned.
  • Identify training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from management.
  • Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within specified timeframe.
  • Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders during formal and informalinteraction.
  • Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes (e.g. operational processes) that willimprove the functioning of stakeholders' businesses by highlighting benefits in support of theimplementation of recommendations.
  • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating inNedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
  • Participate and support corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
  • Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommendingeffective ways to operate and adding value to Nedbank.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification

Project Management.

Minimum Experience Level

  • 3-5 years relevant management and banking experience
