Job Purpose
To support the growth and development of Nedbank’s distribution channels by effectively executing the channel development strategy, enabling the expansion of the bank’s reach and business through both new and existing initiatives, in alignment with Nedbank’s overall business strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently against agreed sales targets.
- Develop and sustain strategic relationships with existing and prospective intermediaries through structured, high‑quality engagement.
- Drive intermediary education by effectively communicating product and process information aligned to Nedgroup Investments’ strategic focus areas to support market share growth.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of intermediary business models through ongoing structured engagements to identify, anticipate, and address client needs.
- Partner closely with internal teams across Nedgroup Investments, sharing insights and information to support strategic priorities.
- Exhibit strong investment expertise across product specifications and operational processes.
- Build effective working relationships with internal service providers, ensuring communication and delivery in line with agreed service level agreements.
- Ensure delivery of targeted products and services, measured through client management systems and contribution statements.
- Maintain high standards of quality and turnaround times through disciplined adherence to systems, processes, and procedures.
- Proactively understand and respond to client business requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in knowledge, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and clients, reinforcing Nedbank’s capability to manage complex client business needs.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
Degree in Business / Finance / Investments (e.g. B.Comm ), CFP Qualification.

Commercial Financial Planning
Minimum Experience Level
- Minimum 10 years working experience as an Investment Consultant or Sales Manager or Business Development Manager in an Asset Management environment or Unit Trust environment.
