Job Purpose
To deliver seamless talent acquisition coordination and junior recruitment support for the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) cluster. This role ensures an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, combining advanced administrative, project management, and recruitment skills.
Job Responsibilities
Recruitment Coordination & Administration
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, assessments, and candidate meetings for multiple business units.
- Manage candidate communications, ensuring timely updates and a positive experience.
- Conduct reference checks and background screening in line with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., POPIA, PIMS).
- Prepare and send offer letters, manage onboarding documentation, and load offers onto relevant HR systems.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and databases (ATS, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Support recruiters in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for CIB roles.
- Assist in posting job adverts on internal and external platforms, including job boards and social media.
- Track recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-hire, source of hire, time-to-fill) and prepare regular reports.
Stakeholder & Candidate Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate clear communication between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth process delivery.
- Coordinate logistics for interviews, including travel, venues, catering, and technology setup.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and professional body requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity across all candidate and recruitment records.
- Support financial administration related to recruitment (e.g., vendor payments, expense tracking).
Project & Process Improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for candidate experience and recruitment processes.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new processes, policies, and systems within Talent Acquisition.
- Support the delivery of talent acquisition projects, including graduate programmes, learnerships, and strategic hiring campaigns
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related.
Minimum Experience Level
2–4 years’ experience in recruitment coordination or junior recruitment, ideally within corporate investment banking.
- Proven track record in scheduling, candidate engagement, and recruitment administration.
- Experience with HR systems (ATS, SAP, LinkedIn Recruiter, Offerzen, etc.).
- Strong understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements in recruitment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.
